ZO2 To Star In Series For INDEPENDENT FILM CHANNEL

Brooklyn, NY-based trio ZO2, who in 2004 supported KISS and POISON on the "Rock the Nation" U.S. tour, will shoot the pilot in March for a loosely scripted "hybrid" Independent Film Channel (IFC) show based on the real lives of the bandmembers with a look at what it takes for an original band to "make it." From juggling jobs that pay the bills to the eager groupies vying for their moment with the band and from landing the opening slot on the "Rock the Nation" tour to battling for bookings in clubs, viewers will not only enjoy the group and their high-energy rock and roll but also see the inner struggles of a band battling for success and stardom.

Featuring brothers Paulie Z (vocals, guitar) and David Z (vocals, bass guitar) alongside Joey Cassata (drums, vocals),ZO2 bandmembers' individual musical achievements are noteworthy: David as the bassist for the enormously successful TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, Joey in the highly successful and critically acclaimed BLUE MAN GROUP and Paulie as a featured vocalist on many of Howard Stern's infamous song parodies and also as the creator of New York City's popular ZO2's Rock Asylum, featuring local and national rock artists each month proving that rock 'n' roll is alive and prospering and the rock community is still thriving, hungry and begging for more.
